Southern Utah Art Guild unveils new season of free exhibits showcasing local artists |
Invites the public to experience local art |

From a collaborative exhibition showcasing artists from across Southern Utah to a spotlight featuring an award-winning watercolorist, the Southern Utah Art Guild is inviting the public to experience local art through a series of free exhibitions designed to connect artists with the community.
The summer season begins with "Force of Nature," a joint exhibition at Red Cliff Gallery opening with a public reception Friday, July 31, from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display through Sept. 3.
The exhibition features artwork from members of six Southern Utah Art Guild clubs, including Urban Sketchers, Procreate Digital Art, Photography, Watercolor, Collage and Drawing, alongside artists from Women Out West, known as WOW, and TURN Community Services.
The summer exhibition gives participants the opportunity to display their work in a professional gallery setting.
Artists from TURN Community Services are also featured in the exhibition, providing another opportunity for community members to experience the diverse talents of local artists.
Looking ahead, the Guild will present "Expressions of the Soul," a juried exhibition featuring more than 70 artists and over 150 works of art. The show runs from Sept. 11 through Oct. 29, with an opening reception scheduled for Sept. 11 from 5-7 p.m.
Both exhibitions will be held at Red Cliff Gallery, 220 N. 200 East in St. George. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, Arrowhead Gallery will feature watercolor artist Deena Millecam as its Spotlight Artist for August.
Millecam, an educator, artist and former administrator in the Uintah School District, is known for her vibrant watercolor paintings inspired by the natural world. Her work has received local recognition and awards and is displayed at both Arrowhead Gallery and Gallery 35.
