Thunderbirds Secure Third Consecutive Win in Western Athletic Conference Play

CEDAR CITY, Utah — In a commanding performance on Wednesday night, the Southern Utah Thunderbirds clinched an 84-70 victory over the Utah Valley Wolverines, marking their third consecutive win in Western Athletic Conference play.

 

Jaiden Feroah led the charge with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists, showcasing his versatility and leadership on the court.

 

Isaiah Cottrell contributed significantly, adding 15 points while shooting 5 of 11 from the field and a perfect 5 for 5 from the free-throw line, along with 12 rebounds.

 

Tanner Hayhurst also made a notable impact, scoring 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting, including 2 for 4 from beyond the arc.

 

On the opposing side, Jackson Holcombe delivered an impressive performance for the Wolverines, recording 26 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks.

 

Trevan Leonhardt added 14 points and four assists, while Isaac Hawkins contributed 10 points and two blocks.

 

This victory not only improves the Thunderbirds' season record to 7-13 but also highlights their resilience and determination in the conference.
