Chartway Credit Union has unveiled its newly relocated Cedar City branch, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to the community.
The grand opening event brought together members, local leaders, and dignitaries to celebrate this expansion.
Located at 1096 South Main Street, the branch is part of Chartway's multi-million-dollar initiative to modernize and expand its presence across Utah, Virginia, and Texas.
Designed with a focus on accessibility and state-of-the-art technology, the new branch offers an inviting space that reflects Chartway's people-first philosophy.
During the ceremony, Brian Schools, president and CEO of Chartway Credit Union, emphasized the organization's dedication to growth and innovation.
He stated, "Opening our new Cedar City branch reflects Chartway’s continued investment in growth, innovation, and the communities we’re privileged to serve."
In a heartfelt moment, the Chartway Promise Foundation hosted a Wish Proclamation Ceremony for Archer Cooke, a local child living with a metabolic disorder.
Surrounded by his family, Archer learned that his wish for a pop-up camping trailer would soon be fulfilled, enabling his family to embark on safe and comfortable adventures together.
Following the proclamation, attendees gathered for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Tessa Douglas, president and CEO of the Cedar City Chamber, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "We’re proud to count Chartway Credit Union among our valued Chamber members, and we’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of their beautiful new building."
As part of the celebration, NewGround, the design-build contractor for the new branch, presented a $5,000 donation to the Chartway Promise Foundation.
This contribution will aid in granting life-changing wishes and experiences to medically fragile children and their families.
The Cedar City branch joins Chartway's growing network of modernized locations, including recent renovations at the Red Cliffs Branch in Washington and the Sunset Branch in St. George.
Construction is also underway for a new branch in Herriman, Utah, slated to open in 2026.
Each project underscores Chartway's strategic goal to create member-centric spaces integrated with advanced technology.
