As temperatures warm across Iron County, Southern Utah's wildflower season is in full swing, offering Cedar City residents spectacular viewing opportunities throughout the area.
Local botanists report that this year's combination of winter moisture and spring warmth has created ideal conditions for desert wildflowers. Cedar Breaks National Monument is already showing early blooms at lower elevations, with expectations for peak viewing in mid-May at higher altitudes.
